Funciones con fechas y numero de semana anual

Para saber a qué número de semana pertenece una fecha

date("W", strtotime($date));

Si tenemos un número de semana y año y queremos saber que fechas comprenden esa semana

$year = "2010"; // Year 2010
$week = "01"; // Week 1

$date1 = date( "d-m-Y", strtotime($year."W".$week."1") ); // First day of week
$date2 = date( "d-m-Y", strtotime($year."W".$week."7") ); // Last day of week
